Real Life Career and Education

After graduating from college, I attend USAF Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. I earned my USAF Wings in November 1979 and went to F-4 Phantom training in 1980. In 1982, I returned to Training Command as a T-38 Instructor Pilot. I served for 20 Years and retired from the USAF Reserves in 2000. In 1986, I separated from the active USAF and started as a U.S. Customs (later DHS) Pilot. In my USCS/DHS Career, I held very interesting jobs as an advisor to President George Herbert Walker Bush and William Jefferson Clinton. I was also an Associate Director for Homeland Security on Tom Ridge's Staff. The pinnacle of my law enforcement career was assisting in the capture of the Beltway Sniper in 2002. I retired from DHS in 2006. I started my career in the Business Development (BD) world as the Director of Government Sales at Agusta Westland Helicopter and later moved to Cessna as a Vice President for Government Sales. After 10 years in the BD world, I started my own business and recently fully retired in January of 2022. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Master of Science in Management Science. I am also a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute.
